A Little Bit of JOY!

It is official... we are having baby girl #3 and we can't wait to meet her. Isabella Joy is sure to live up to her name... Beautiful Happiness! Yes, we had wanted a boy but we are so excited about this sweet little girl. We can't wait to get our hands on her and see who she looks like when she is ready to come out. The girls had a little bit of mixed emotions. Hope has wanted a baby sister from the get go. Grace, well, not so much! We bought a bunch of pink balloons to bring the girls when we told them. When Hunter asked if they knew why we brought pink balloons, Grace got a horrible look on her face and whispered, "It's a girl?" She promptly burst into tears and wailed that she did not want another sister. Ha! After a little bit of talking, we finally got it out of her that she only wanted a brother so that she could keep the train table we have upstairs (we want to sell it in a garage sale because they NEVER play with it). Funny girl!

They have both been so sweet. They both kiss my belly and talk to our little one all the time! My favorite is when they sing to my tummy. What fun we are going to have with 3 little girls! What DRAMA we are going to have with 3 little girls!

We got a little bit of news that was a startling at first and honestly had me freaked out. I had to see a specialist yesterday and they discovered that my placenta is really low. It is sitting on my cervix and on the scars of my previous c-sections. He kind of gave us the doom and gloom scenario. It can cause what is called an Acreeda. It causes complications in your 3rd trimester. If my placenta does not move up, it can attach to the mussels in the wall of my uterus on my scars. (I was not able to find much about it on the internet.) If this occurs, they would have to do a partial hysterectomy and remove my uterus when I deliver and they would have to take the baby early. They said there were other complications that could occur with me(?). However, the baby is safe and they are watching me. I will see the Perinatologist and have a sonogram every time I go see my OB.

We are very optimistic and have faith that God will take care of me and the baby. Please keep us in your prayers and pray that my placenta moves up and away from my c-section scars and that our little Bella Joy will be safe and healthy
