Father's Day
Daddy and his favorite 2 little princesses!! They even matched in their yellow & navy blue and it was not planned but totally cute!
Today was Father's Day and it was all about the Daddy! We had lunch at Boi Na Braza (Hunter's FAVORITE place to dine) with Poppi, Nano, Granddad and his new friend, Suzzy. This year, the girls got Daddy a new little bible that is small and snaps close. He can keep in his car or take it work. I got Hunter a book called "Dance Me Daddy", If you have little girls, it a good Daddy present! He loved it and it kind made him choke up a little bit. I cried in Lifeway when I read it. They grow up way to fast. We went to Nano's after lunch and just the four of us played in the pool for about 2 hours. I think Grace gave Hunter the best present of all! She is swimming like a mermaid (do not dare say a fish or she will correct you)! Hunter taught her how to dive down to the bottom of the pool for pearls (he was James the Great Pearl Diver when he was a little boy). So now, we have Gracie the Great... Mermaid Extraordinaire! Ever since our 1st summer of Grace being in the pool, he has talked about teaching her to dive for pearls. So, on Father's Day his dream came true! It was a great day!

Graduation Day
Tonight was a great night in our household! Hunter graduated with his Master of Information Systems Management degree from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is recognized as a Graduate with Distinction an achievement obtained from having a 3.7 GPA or higher. It has been a long journey and we are so excited that he can relax a little bit and just be a husband and daddy that is not working and going to school. It is hard to believe those 5 1/2 years ago, he went back to school with 6 hours towards his undergrad and now he has his Master's degree. We have definitely had our hard times during this adventure but I just want him to know how proud of him I am! He has worked hard for himself and our family to provide a better future for us. He has also set a wonderful example for our girls by demonstrating how important it is to get your education even if you wait until later in life or after the Army in Hunter's case :-)
I am so proud of you baby and never forget that! Thank you for working so hard for our family!

Pearly Whites
Today we went to the dentist and it was a great visit! First of all, I love Dr. Lantzy and so do my kids. He is so good with them. I have thought about switching to someone closer to the house but my kids really like him. Grace was up first and she was a champ! She got her teeth cleaned and her x-rays. We were talking it up BIG TIME to little sister. No cavities but he really talked to her about the fact that she HAS to stop sucking her thumb. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then he showed her x-ray and told us that we will probably see a wiggly tooth in about 6 months (maybe less)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This momma had to hold back the water works. My baby is growing up way too fast. He talked to her about how important it was that she did not suck her thumb once her "Big Girl Teeth" came in. She promised him that before she came back for her 6 months check up at Christmas she would stop sucking her thumb. So, please pray that my baby will stop sucking her thumb!
Hope has a a harder time with her visit. She got her teeth cleaned but only with a fight. Her favorite part was when the put the straw that has the suction in her mouth. She could not get enough of it! Silly girl.
We are off to swimming lessons so I must post my blog and get the kids in the car. How is it that they grow up so fast?

Sprinkler Fun
Last night we had our small group for church and we had a fabulous time! Kimberly texted us to bring the kid's swimsuits for a little bit of "getto water park" time! The kids had such a great time and it was wonderful to watch. I have such great memories of my friends from church when I was little. I want my kids to have those relationships and friendships that will last a lifetime! This group of people that are in our care group are great Christians with kids that I would love for my kids to grow up around. I look forward to many more of these eveing evenings and experiences as we watch our kids grow up in Christ together! Here are a few fun pictures that I took last night. It was very obvious they had fun...
Posers! These 2 girls are so funny. Little Olivia was over there trying to pose like the big girls. Grace loves her friend Camille and they are both girlie girls who have the Diva thing going on!
Sweet girls! I would love to show this picture to them at 14 or 15 and to see them get a little embarrassed.

Splashing around! Hope has come a long way! Last summer she would not have done this at all!!!!!!!! She hated to get splashed and did not splash. Times have changed!
Emmie was a hoot to watch with her goggles and float.
Run and jump!
Slip and Slide fun!
I could not resist taking this picture of these cuties!

More Recital Pictures!
WOOHOO!!!!!!! School is out and summer is here. This mommy is so excited. I LOVE being home with my girls! If Hunter told me today that I could stay home, I hope skip merily to the computer and type up my letter of resignation happily. However, I can't right now so I will enjoy every moment I can with my sidekicks!
Here are a few pictures that I am behind on...
Recital Night went Fabulous! Grace did such a good job and loved it. She especially loved getting her PINK trophy and is super proud of it. Here are a few more pictures from her actual recital night (the others were from rehearal)
Before the big show! We went to Sweet and Sassy to get G's hair and "make-up" done. Yes, it was kind of bold but when she was on stage you couldn't really tell she had it on! She LOVED it!!
We got to put her up on stage before the show and take pictures.
What can I say but... she is a ham! This was my favorite costume of the night!
Grave and Avery were next to eachother in both dances. Aren't they cutie pies!

Katie was one of the kindergarteners at my school. I love this kid!

Mrs. Becky was our dance teacher this year and she was so sweet! SHe amazed us all by dancing with her baby belly and she did a fabulous job. All the Daddies could not believe she was up there dancing away and due in just a few months! You can't even tell she is 6 1/2 months along in this photo! We are sure going to miss her next year!
The "TROPHY"!!!!!!!!!!! And it is pink and gold! A fancy trophy for a fancy girl!
