Christmas 2009

Yikes! Where did time go? It is already the middle of January and I am just now posting pictures of Christmas. We had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed being with our family. On the flip side, we were sick pretty much the whole 2 weeks we were off. But, we are all on the mend now and so hopeful about 2010!!!

We started off the holidays with Hunter’s parents. Hope and Grace played Santa and we laughed because Hope opened her presents and half of everyone else’s also.
Passing out the presents.

Mamma and Nano

Ripping open the presents

Pink and it has sequins!  WOW!

Nano made the girls cape's that they LOVED!

Someday her prince will come!

Then, it was on to Christmas with Hunter’s dad. Grandad spoils our girls and they love every minute of it. The candy and a rocking horse that makes LOTS of noise was a huge hit.

A few days before Christmas we headed to Arkansas to spend Christmas with my big, crazy family. 22 ½ people sleeping in 1 house was NUTS and a little crowded but tons of fun! Throw in all the aunts and uncles, my grandparents, and a few surprise cousins and thirty-some-odd people made it a down-right crazy party! If you have never seen 12 kids pound down the stairs to see the loot on Christmas morning, it is a sight to see! Behold all our Christmas fun…

We had gotten the girls the Mustang but could not pack it in the car to take Grandma's house.  The girls loved their early present!

Grace decorating the cookies we were leaving for Santa!

Trying to decorate Christmas cookies with the little kids.  However, the big kids were having way too much fun!  Ha!

Cousin Katie showing off our beautiful cookies!

Brandon having his fun.

Hope and her "Bandon"

The 12 kids were getting restless waiting for their presents for Grandma and Papaw!

Gracie-Lou-Who was excited about her package!

Sweet Hope opening her "Sleeping Beauty" from Grandma and Papaw.

Grace helped Papa open his present.

Hope helped Grandma Doris open her present.

Hope modeling her Christmas PJ's!  It was a serious tradition in our family that Mom and Dad got you new pajamas for Christmas morning.  I have had so much fun continueing that tradition with our kids.

Sisters!

Grace thought her Papa needed to be a little bit fancier and of course he let her put the ribbon on his head.  She loves him so much!

Grace and her cousin London in their Christmas PJ's!

The younger kids getting coolies and hot chocolate for Santa.

Grace's loot from Santa!

Hope's loot from Santa!

Grace LOVES her Mia Bella doll.

Hope LOVED her doll house!

All the grandkids after the unwrapping of presents on Chistmas morning.

The chaos!

Opening stockings.

Brother's and sisters... Aunt Darla, Mom, and Uncle Fuzzy.

Our big, crazy family!

My parents and their 12 grandkids!

We totally missed the snow on Christmas Eve!  The storm split right before it got to Mena and went around us.  There was a little bit of snow left on the right side of the yard when we go home.  Then, it snowed again and Grace and I went and played in it.  Hope had NO desire to play in the snow.
