Praying for a Boy BUT planning for a little Joy!

Yes, you read my title correct! On this beautiful Thanksgiving Day, I am so excited to say that we are expecting baby #3! We are over the moon and were honestly a little shocked. I am 10 weeks pregnant and due June 24th or 26th (due date is debatable). Needless to say, we are praying for our little boy that everyone in our family wants. Daddy has decided he will be named Lucas Blaze. However, we are completely expecting another beautiful little girl that will be named Isabella Joy. We have had 2 sonograms the last said the heartbeat was 160 at 9 weeks. So, we shall see!

This pregnancy has already been different. I was nauseous for 12 weeks with both girls ALL the time. I never threw up but get as close as you could! This time around, I only feel sick if I wait too long without eating. It hits me fast and goes away as soon as I drink some milk or eat a little something. I am SOOOOOO tired and it is kicking my bottom. By about 7:00 p.m., I am done for. I end up in bed right after we put the girls down at night. I am so ready for that 2nd trimester burst of energy that will hopefully come in about 2 weeks!!! Needless to say, I am already showing. And not just a little bit! I went to dinner with some of my girlfriends the other night and 2 of them didn't know. I told them we were trying to wait to tell people but that I thought it was getting a little hard with the belly. My girlfriend Christy looked at me and said, "Ya think! I would say so!" Last week, 1 of my kindergarteners walked up and hugged me and started rubbing my tummy (I have not told them yet)!

The girls are very excited. Grace has been begging for another baby for about a year. At night, she has been praying for God to put a baby boy in Mommy's tummy because she really wants a baby brother. Hope is trying to figure it all out. She will point to my tummy and ask if the baby is "growing in dere". When she sees the sonogram pictures she asks if that is a picture of her. They are both already talking to my tummy and telling the baby all kinds of stories!

I am honestly not ready for some of Grace's questions. The other night she wanted to know how the baby got in there. HA!!!!!! We told her the baby is like a little seed growing in Mommy's tummy. "But how did that seed get in there?" We told her that Mommy's are born with special seeds that don't work until you are a grownup.?.?.?.? Then she told me that she was going to eat a bunch of seeds so that when she grew up she could have 16 babies!

So yes, we have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day! My loving and thoughtful husband who has been putting up with my 1st trimester tiredness, my 2 beautiful and funny daughters who bring sunshine into my life every day, our fabulous and loving families, and all of our wonderful friends. We hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving Day from our family to yours!

Yeah!!! I am so excited for you. I don't usually try to predict boy or girl this early, but I'm going to stick my neck out and vote for boy, simply because I remember one of my nurses saying that boys tended to have faster heartbeats than girls, and I think 160 is pretty fast (still healthy, but fast). Could be a bunch of balogna, but we'll see. Love ya! :)
