Here are few highlights from the last few weeks...
H graduated from PreK! She is so proud and ready to start Kindergarten. She asks me almost everyday when she gets to go to my school. I wish I could keep her home an extra year, but Daddy says she is ready. And she is. She is so smart but Mommy worries about her being one of the youngest ones.
I love her big brown eyes!
She loved singing for everyone. Her teacher put her close to the microphone because she was belting out the songs. :-)
She was so proud!!!!!!!!!! Although, she was not happy to learn her "Very Important" piece of paper was blank inside.
Love this little girl!!!!!!!
H and her bestfriend at daycare.
We went to Arkansas for a family reunion Memorial Day weekend. I managed to only snap a few pictures. And they were of J and my Pawpaw. Oh how he loves my girls and they love him! He is giant in my eyes. He has always been so sof spoken and wise. I love to hear his stories from the War and of my Grandma, he adored her. He loves to tell stories about my Mama and her big brother and little sister and of course he always has a stories about his grandkids. I love that my girls adore him as much as I do!!!!!!
Then came Kindergarten Celebration for G (our school does not do a Kinder Graduation). We celebrate the end of the year Laua style! The kids come in their best Hawaiian attire. Instead of diplomas, we give each kid a Lei. Our kids sing some fun songs and then get their awards. Our parents love it and it has become a big tradition at our school.
Here is G's class before Celebration with our beautiful Mrs. Perry
My pretty girl
She loves "her" Mrs. Perry and so do I!
How is this kid already done with Kindergarten? As she says, she is now a "Big First Grader!"
Baby J is growing and getting so big. She will ONE a week from tomorrow. It makes this Momma want to cry. My baby girl is doing things so much faster because she HAS to keep up with her big sisters.
I will have 1 year pictures to post soon. We had them done last weekend and the previews I have seen are MARVELOUS! Until then, Happy Summer!
