We've Got Joy!

Yesterday, Thursday, June 17, 2010, we welcomed our precious Isabella Joy into this world. Much to everyone's surprise, I made it to my c-section date. Dr. Chapman was in shock when he walked into my room yesterday, threw his hands in the air and said, "I don't belive you made it! I didn't think it would happen!" I had contractions all night and that morning. My wonderful nurse, Lauren, told me I was in labor when I came in and probably would have had her yesterday anyways.

It was a great c-section delivery and I can't say enough about the staff at Dallas Presby! Dr. Chapman had delivered all 3 of our girls and I have had some of the same nurses that I had with both of the girls. It just kind of feels like home.

Needless to say, she is perfect. She weighed 8 pounds even and was 19 1/2 inches long with dark hair like her sisters. It amazes me how different her personality already is. She seems so laid back and easy going and nurses like a champ. Her sister's are so in love with her and have not wanted to leave her the last 2 days. Daddy loves his 3 little princesses and is laughing about how rotten she will be or rather already is.

We are over the moon with excitment and pure JOY! God is so good and blessed us with another little girl to love. Here are a few pictures of our new little angel...
